Abby Hartley, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant
Abby is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant who graduated from Delta College in 2009. She holds certifications in LSVT BIG and massage therapy, and brings clinical strengths in orthopedics and sports medicine to her practice. Abby is committed to providing fun, compassionate, hands-on care to help patients of all ages achieve their rehabilitation goals.
A lifelong resident of Gladwin, Abby resides in the community with her husband and their four children. Outside of work, she enjoys hunting, camping, and kayaking—activities that reflect her love for the outdoors and active lifestyle.






Charles Zelkowski, PT, DPT
Gladwin Therapy Director
Charles is a licensed Physical Therapist and the Therapy Director in Gladwin. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation from Central Michigan University in 2010, followed by a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2013. A lifelong resident of the Mid-Michigan area, Charles is proud to serve the community he calls home.
He is an active member of both the Michigan Physical Therapy Association and the American Physical Therapy Association. Charles is passionate about delivering comprehensive care in a rural setting and is deeply committed to helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals through personalized, evidence-based treatment. His clinical strengths include orthopedics, vertigo management, geriatric care, balance training, and sports medicine.
Charles resides in Harrison with his wife and their three children. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and sharing new experiences with them. His personal interests include golfing, fishing, hunting, hiking, kayaking, and camping—activities that reflect his love for the outdoors and active lifestyle.

Erin Gawel, PCC
Patient Care Coordinator
Erin Gawel has been a vital part of Evergreen Physical Therapy since 2003, bringing years of experience and a deep understanding of clinic operations to her role as Patient Care Coordinator. She leads and supports the Evergreen team with professionalism, warmth, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Erin received her education from Mid-Michigan College and Central Michigan University. Known for her approachable demeanor and organizational expertise, she helps ensure every patient’s experience is smooth and welcoming.
A lifelong resident of the area, Erin enjoys baking, reading, and spending time outdoors camping and kayaking with her husband and their three children. She actively supports the community in many ways, reflecting her deep-rooted connection and dedication to the people she serves.






Kristi Owens, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Kristi is a licensed Physical Therapist with a strong academic and clinical foundation. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Oakland University and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Michigan-Flint. Kristi is an active member of both the American Physical Therapy Association and the Michigan Physical Therapy Association.
She enjoys working with a diverse patient population and has specialized interests in orthopedics, geriatric care, women’s health, and pelvic floor therapy. Kristi is also certified in LSVT BIG, a specialized program designed to improve movement intensity and functional mobility for individuals with Parkinson’s Disease, with applications that extend to other patient populations as well.
Kristi resides in Beaverton with her husband and two children. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, attending her kids events, camping, reading, and cooking—activities that reflect her warm, energetic, and well-rounded approach to life and care.
