Meet Our Staff
Abby Hartley, PTA – Abby is a lifelong resident of Gladwin. She resides in Gladwin with her husband and four children. Abby graduated from Delta College in 2009 with her Physical Therapy Assistant degree. She is certified in LSVT and massage therapy.
Her personal interests include hunting, camping and kayaking
Charles Zelkowski, DPT, graduated from Central Michigan University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation and in 2013 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Charles is a member of the Michigan Physical Therapy Association and the American Physical Therapy Association. Charles is the Director of the Evergreen Physical Therapy clinic in Gladwin. He is a lifelong resident of the Mid-Michigan area and resides in Harrison with his wife and three children. He is happy to be a part of the Evergreen Physical Therapy Team and be able to pursue his passion of offering comprehensive treatment to a rural-based community. His professional interests include orthopedics, vertigo, geriatric care, balance and sports medicine treatment. When not at work he enjoys spending time with his family and sharing new experiences with them. He also enjoys Golfing, Fishing, Hunting, Hiking, Kayaking and Camping.

Erin Gawel – Erin is a patient care coordinator who has been with Evergreen since 2003. She received her education at Mid Michigan College as well as Central Michigan University. In her free time she enjoys baking, reading, and camping & kayaking with her husband and three children.
Kristi Owens, DPT graduated from Oakland University with a Bachelor of Science and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Michigan-Flint. She is currently a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Michigan Physical Therapy Association.
Kristi enjoys working with a wide variety of patients, with specific interests in orthopedic, geriatric, women’s health, and pelvic floor therapy. She is also certified in LSVT Big which is a specialty program aimed to increase movement intensity and functional movements for patients with Parkinson’s Disease, and can be adapted to many additional patient populations. Kristi and her family reside in Beaverton. Her personal interests include traveling, camping, reading, and cooking.
